Software to extract text and lines from PDF

I want to automatically extract text, lines and rectangles from PDF file. You need to develop software that will take name of a pdf file and range of page number as input and generate list of space separated text per page along with information of lines and polylines as output assuming some coordinate system that you can recommend. You will have to provide well documented code, detailed instructions to build the code, document explaining software architecture and design
