• Main Intranet site with landing page
• Follow custom branding (will provide branding martial)
• Specific Features: Document management, Team collaboration, News and announcements
• Content: A Combination of template-based and custom work
• Authentication or Login System: Yes
We are looking for a SharePoint expert to develop our main site, focusing on document management, team collaboration, and news and announcements features. As well as department-based document libraries falling off the main intranet site.
End Goal
Existing Office 365 tenant, and wants to create a corporate Intranet page, primarily to share information and news, consisting of the following main departments:
• Executives
• Engineering
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Operations
• Safety
• Training
• Warehouse
Each department should have
• A Staff-facing ‘public’-style area
o a ‘public’ Office Staff tab/announcements/document library
o a ‘public’ Field Staff tab/announcements/document library
• A Private department-only area
o a ‘private’ department-only tab/announcements /document library
Phase One: Discovery and Requirements Gathering (est. 2.5 days)
Capture and analyze needs:
• Taxonomy
• Basic Site collection
• Basic Department Sites
• Security
• Basic Branding (color scheme)
• Governance
Phase Two: Prepare and Configure SharePoint Online (est. 4.5 days)
• Configure SharePoint Online
• Configure Services
• Configure Security
• Create SharePoint Taxonomy
• Create Basic Site structure
Ideal Skills and Experience:
• Proficiency in SharePoint development and customization
• Strong knowledge of document management and collaboration features
• Experience in creating and implementing templates for SharePoint sites
• Familiarity with authentication and login systems in SharePoint
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within the specified timeframe.
