The purpose of this document is to introduce the project and outline the core requirements.
Generator Monitor is a web-based software application that enables the monitoring of many (10K+ ) generators in various location in the country. The generators are used as a backup source of electricity in those areas every time there is a power cut from the main grid. They provide electricity to the public who subscribe to the generator electricity service.
The project is to provide a way to monitor whether a generator is ON or OFF and keep track of the total number of ON hours of each generator, the voltage and frequency parameters.
