Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Pokemon Pointers Search & Bot Customisation

Job ID: 38098900

Budget: £800 – £2,500 GBP

The overall requirement of this project is to adapt a current Windows application that is programmed in C#. The source is : https://github.com/kwsch/SysBot.NET

SysBot is a program that automates Pokemon trading, within Pokemon games on the Nintendo Switch.

What is Pokémon trading? Within the Pokemon game, you can trade "Pokemon" with another player of the same game. This is called "Link Trading". We already have this routine covered and this is not in scope. We are interested in the Surprise Trade.

A Surprise Trade is where you offer a Pokemon, and you trade with a complete random person, who also offers a Pokemon. It is not known what will be traded, hence the name Surprise Trade. There are 2 Pokemon games that use Surprise Trade. Pokemon Sword and Shield, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (this game is the latest Pokemon game). Our Windows application already has a routine for the Surprise Trade in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It selects a file (.pk) and injects this Pokemon into the game, where it is then traded to another player. This is repeated indefinitely until the program is stopped.

However, we have modified the above source to suit or own needs. This is currently private and will remain private until a job is offered and accepted. Our modified version runs mainly the same as the source with a few key differences. Our bot listens out for orders, from our website. When an order is added to our bot, it will Link Trade with our customers. For Sword and Shield, when we have no pending orders, Surprise Trade will choose the .pk files and repeat this routine until a new order is detected, where it switches Routine to Link Trade. Once completed, it will go back to Surprise Trade.

What do we require? We need firstly, the Surprise Trade pointers/offsets found from within Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. With these, we can then begin to write a Surprise Trade function within our existing windows program which is coded in C#. We need the Surprise trade function to work as it does in Sword and Shield.

We can provide help with testing; however, we have no knowledge of coding, nor do we have any of pointer finding. We can provide videos/images and more information on request.

REQUIREMENTS FROM YOU:

- You own a Nintendo Switch with CFW
- You are familiar with how Pokemon games work
- You have experience of finding pointers/offsets from RAM reading or similar using a Nintendo Switch device
- High knowledge of C# and JS
- To know you have read the full brief above, please respond with the capital of England, at the beginning of your proposal.

Please do not apply if you cannot meet all the requirements above. This is an incredibly niche project that requires prior knowledge of what we are asking.
