Oracle MICROS Simphony POS Extensibility API Conversion (C# to JavaScript)

We’re looking for an experienced developer to help convert our existing custom applications, built with Oracle MICROS Simphony’s .NET Extensibility API (C#), to the new JavaScript version of the Extensibility API. This will enable our applications to work across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Android, in addition to Windows.
The .NET Extensibility API allows developers to create custom business logic by subscribing to events within the MICROS Simphony POS environment, such as applying specific tax rules or running promotional events. This new JavaScript library provided by Oracle will allow for the same functionality but is compatible across a broader range of operating systems.
Project Requirements:
1. Extensibility API Conversion: Convert existing .NET (C#) applications built on the Extensibility API to the new JavaScript version.
2. Platform Compatibility: Ensure the converted code functions seamlessly across Windows, Linux, and Android platforms.
3. Event Subscription Implementation: Use the JavaScript library to subscribe to relevant events within the MICROS Simphony POS context and execute custom business logic, such as:
• Applying country/state-specific tax rules
• Running promotional events (discounts, complimentary items)
• Automating tasks (e.g., applying discounts, redeeming gift vouchers, predefined tender records)
4. Testing and Validation: Verify that the converted JavaScript applications perform consistently with the original C# versions and meet business requirements across all platforms.
Skills Needed:
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and JavaScript
• Experience working with Oracle MICROS Simphony POS and its Extensibility API
• Knowledge of event-driven programming and implementing business logic
• Familiarity with multi-platform compatibility (Windows, Linux, Android)
• Ability to test, troubleshoot, and ensure code reliability across different environments
Preferred Experience:
• Previous work on Oracle MICROS POS custom applications
• Experience converting applications from .NET (C#) to JavaScript
