.Net Docker Container Fix: SQL Connection
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I need an expert in .Net Framework, Docker, and SQL Server to fix an issue with my application.
I have a legacy app written in .Net Framework 2.0 which I have containerised using Windows Docker and I have MS SQL installed on host/local machine outside the container. When I run my container application, it fails to connect the sql server.
---------------------------------------
It gives following error:
A network-related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to sql server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that sql server is configured to allow remote connections. (Provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No such host is known)
------------------------------------
I have used all the help available on the internet including all the resources which shows the solution for this issue, so don't think this is simple error. If you have prior experience working on windows docker containers for containerising legacy .net framework application connection to host sql server then only bid else don't waste your time as I will catch you.
Please include your past work experience in your application connecting windows docker application connecting to host sql server.
