Need help building a Spotify data app using C# and Azure serverless architecture
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Request details
I am building a MVP to collate data about musicians and tracks from Spotify and to connect users to each other based on their musical tastes and allow them to chat.
The app uses Azure Serverless architecture, C#, .NET and Cosmos DB. The application is currently web only, but I expect that it will ultimately be predominately mobile device users that will connect to the service (Android/iOS).
The application uses Spotify API's (https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/general/guides/authorization/), to authenticate and to pull user playlist data to collect statistics on artist and songs.
Current state is that I have code that allows for user registration and authentication and the 'liked' tracks are able to be pulled from a users Spotify account into the database. There is no UI or frontend to the application yet and the feature to connect and chat to other users hasn't been built. The current state simply allows users to register using their Spotify account and then the backend propagates Cosmos with their liked tracks as a one time trigger on registration.
I expect the project to be broken into a number of development sprints, with each sprint delivering or extending a specific module or function.
Deliverables
This sprint:
Extend the dataset by pulling all tracks from all playlists from a users profile, in addition to the existing 'liked' tracks.
Provide basic web UI that returns registered user profile information and allows for profile picture upload and for certain profile details to be amended.
Basic UI to return users who have matched ordered by number of matches.
Create triggers to update users tracks from Spotify liked and playlists.
