Budget: $250 – $700 USD
Project Overview:
I am a programmer seeking a seasoned software developer with expertise in debugging and enhancing system functionalities for a part tracking system. This project is a .NET 8 Blazor web application with a back end in MS SQL Server. In this system, digital parts are created from another application. Workers receive a digital parts list and create components, which are then routed through seven departments for further processing. The application tracks these parts and provides managers with visibility into the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with me using screen sharing, as my server is not accessible from the internet.
Assist with debugging and development tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the part tracking system.
Understand and implement features based on provided schema and sample data.
Develop different UIs for each department based on specific requirements.
Integrate ASP Identity for user authentication and logging into the system.
Maintain frequent communication to ensure project success.
Specific Issues to Address:
Bugs and Errors: The system has several glitches that need troubleshooting.
Missing Functionalities: Certain features are yet to be implemented, and I need your help in developing these.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in web-based software development.
Strong debugging skills.
Experience in developing and implementing system functionalities.
Prior experience with part tracking systems is a plus.
Experience with database schema and handling sample data.
Experience with ASP Identity and creating role-based user interfaces.
Familiarity with .NET 8 Blazor web applications.
Experience with MS SQL Server.
Additional Information:
The project involves multiple departments (seven in total) through which the parts pass.
The application is critical for providing managers with real-time visibility into the part tracking process.
Different UIs may be needed based on the department.
If you are interested and meet the requirements, please provide your bid and any relevant experience.
