c# Multithreaded method

Looking for the best way possible to take a class and execute that class in it's own thread. Must support cancelling. The class is already built. Just need to thread the method and execute a class. The class doesn;t have to pass any variables back to the UI. Just need it to execute async. Looking for best practice with an example. c#, winforms .Net4.8
