Migrating a desktop application VB6 to .NET 5 and C#
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
A twenty year old Databaseapplication using Access.
I want to modernise the application. (Also upgrading the access-database) Parts of the functionality is to be cancelled. A number of reports (Crystal reports) is to be cancelled.
The application uses some third party OCX for grid and input fields like comboboxes etc. I want them replaced by Visual Studio's own controls (unless there are 3rd party tools that will save time and work).
Approximately 15 forms - mainly gridbased - and some of them have interacting grids.
15 Data editing dialogboxes (edit forms)
Forms for report selections
Forms for search and filters
Some few forms for messages and status
(1 Empty Access file with the name Master.bdm, and of course I supply a real life database for testing)
40 Crystal reports designers - some of them to be forgotten
Some modules for aggregating values in the data hierachy through 5 levels: invoices - orders - budgets - subprojects - projects.
I will give more information if this is interesting. I can supply an installer package so that you can see the application working.
