Japanese adaptation for an existing Unity project (without translation)

Job ID: 39912425

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have a fully translated Japanese text set waiting to be dropped into our live Unity project; what I need now is an experienced developer who can wire everything up, make sure it renders correctly, and verify that the play-through feels native to Japanese players.

Scope of work
• Integrate the supplied strings through Unity’s built-in Localization package (or an equivalent workflow you are comfortable with).
• Adapt all UI layouts and font handling so Japanese characters display crisply and without clipping across menus, dialog boxes, and HUD elements.
• Follow our detailed internal localization guidelines while still applying best-practice solutions when edge-cases arise.
• Thoroughly test on desktop and mobile builds, fixing any overflow, alignment, or prefab issues discovered along the way.

Acceptance criteria
• Every menu, dialog box, and HUD element shows the correct Japanese text with no truncation or misalignment.
• Dynamic text (e.g., score counters, timers) expands gracefully for double-byte characters.
• All scene transitions, animations, and particle effects remain synchronized after layout changes.
• A short report summarizing the fixes made and any remaining recommendations is handed over with the final build.

If you know your way around Unity, TextMeshPro, and the Localization package, and you take pride in pixel-perfect UI, I’m ready to collaborate right away.
