Looking for an inventory app.When the client receives an item they will scan the item (which will be the manufacturer product number or product number as shown in the excel sheet) and the program should enter the item in the database with received date as the scanned date and should allow the user to enter any additional details like expiry date, freeze by date, comments and should later be able to update the inventory by entering used checkbox with a used date, discarded checkbox with discarded date . Another field for notes which show anything related to used or discarded
Once used or discarded, the item should not show up in the inventory . We should be able to print a report of expiring items within a date range, items on hand, items processed within a month with the status.
Please add any field that you think might be useful from your inventory management system experience
Is it possible to use a wireless barcode scanner? Please let me know the model that you recommend
I am attaching the item catalog that contains a list of common items that are scanned. We should be able to import to the reference table from updated catalog by importing csv file. This way when they scan the item it will show the product details
