Project Definition of Terms
The customer: ARKSOFT INC who provides funding to the freelancer to complete the project.

Project Introduction
A cross-platform virtual/desktop application (Windows and Linux) that that able to display a piece of simple information (in text form) with a color banner (such as background, foreground, text, sound, and etc.) on top of a computer screen at all times (in docking mode at all time no matter plays a movie/game/full-screen application or not). The IB can report/receive a status/message from a central server defines by the I.T. department. The IB also can verify/active/deactivate/update the software/license via our own Software License Manager (SLM)’s RESTful API (detailed API documentation will be provided separately with an exported Postman pre config file).
Project Delivery Time
4 weeks ~ 6 weeks (project must complete within the time range)

Project Test Environment
The IB must test and be compatible with the last 3~4 long time support versions of each platform including all types of versions such as home, business, professional, server, datacenter, opensource, and educational:
Specifications
Windows: v7.0 or above. (including v11, if available at the time)
Linux: Ubuntu v16.04 or above.
The test will be conducting on Raspberry Pi 3B or above [and/or] Virtual Machine (e.g. VBox or VMware) with 4-processors or more, and 8GB RAM or more specifications.
IB should come with an installer for each platform.
Test Methods
IB MUST pass the performance test with the specification above. Some tests are BUT NOT LIMITED TO below methods:
Does IB able to run freely without admin permissions?
Does IB able to run freely along with other programs such as Microsoft Office, etc.?
Does IB able to run freely without being self-terminated?
Candidate Requirements
Ability to communicate in English fluently and clearly.
Experience in source version control via BitBucket.org
Experience in any Project Management System (PMS) and willing to document all activities via our PMS.
Experience in making architectural recommendations is a plus.
Experience in Windows and Linux desktop application development/testing.
Experience in C# with MAUI [ OR ] C++ with Qt cross-platform framework.
Dedication to meet project deadlines on time.
Attention to detail.
