Image Analysis for screw slot detection

I am looking for someone to help me with a project involving infrared image analysis for screw slot detection. Specifically, I need someone with experience in automated analysis of infrared images. I skipped the question about the size of the smallest screw slot that needs to be detected, since this will not be relevant for the current project. The project should use automated methods for infrared image analysis in order to accurately detect the presence of screw slots. After detecting the two screw slots, a few calculation needs to be performed such as calculating its distance.
