C# Help me with wrighting plugin for an application

Am a junior programmer and I need help with the task that I was given.
My task is to write a plugin that will integrate with the casshier software.
Works will be done online on my PC as I have the wprk environment.
Cashmatic API and Newtonsoft JSON.
I need someone not only write me a code but also explain me how to write such plugins.
