Fix the custom menu on vb.net
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced VB.NET/C++ developer as I am making a menu bar similar to Outlook Express. When I click on the label, the contextmenu is showing below the label, but it will block the events when I move the mouse onto other item.
Key Requirements:
Fix the contextmenu to stop them to block the events or find a way to display the native menu subitems when click on the label without block the events.
Ideal Skills:
Strong UI/UX development expertise.
Experience in resource management in VB.NET/C++ development.
Familiarity with ToolStripRenderer and UI functionality.
Current Issue:
I am using a toolstrip to add the labels to hover color of the "File" menu. However, when I click the "File Menu", the contextmenu will show below the toolstriplabel. If I try to hover on other labels while the contextmenu is still showing, it will block the hover, mousedown, mousemove...etc and any other events include the timer. I have already tried using the TrackPopupMenuEx, it will make no difference. While I was able to add a grip next to the "File" menu, I want to achieve to make the menu bar as the native default like Windows Vista/7 and xp menu style.
