Expert Full Stack Developer - Remote Desktop Application
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We’re creating a lightweight IT Service Management System to better address the issues, challenges, problems from our internal users, stakeholders, etc.
The app is getting built on:
ASP.NET Core MVC, MSSQL
One of its features we need to build here is:
We need to build a remote desktop application through which we’d be able to control a remote machine with our local mouse & keyboard.
This application can be clientless too, i.e. remote desktop can be accessed through HTML5/web browser through standard protocols like: VNC, RDP, SSH.
Some key features that we need to have:
1. Retrieve IP, CPU and RAM usage of a remote machine
2. Able to check remote device availability, monitoring, i.e. whether the remote machine is online or offline
3. Able to connect with a remote machine and can control that remote machine with mouse & keyboard
4. Be able to do multiple concurrent sessions, i.e. different agents can access different remote machines.
a. One remote machine can be accessed by one Agent at a time
b. One Agent can access multiple remote machines at a time
c. Different Agents can connect with multiple different remote machines at a time
5. Be able to handle multiple monitor(s) [for remote machines]
6. Consider: Remote Machines will be running Windows OS [Windows 7 & above]. However, if the remote application supports cross platform, then it’s fine too.
There are couple of open-source solutions that we can work on integration:
• Apache Guacamole
• UltraVNC
• DWService
• TightVNC
• X2Go
• MeshCentral
• RustDesk
We need to achieve the above features and we’re open to tech stack suggestions provided that our requirements are met.
P.S. This is an Expert role and if you’re confident enough to contribute on this, get in touch and we can discuss more detail. Do read the Job Description carefully before you're applying to this project.
