Excel Construction Gantt Chart
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting up a brand-new facility for Restoration Church and I want the entire build laid out in a clear, dependency-driven Gantt chart built natively in Excel. My focus is on the Construction and Finishing phases only; planning has already been handled elsewhere.
What I need from you
• A single Excel workbook that maps every task from ground-breaking through final punch-list, with start/finish dates, durations, and task-to-task links so shifting one activity automatically ripples through the schedule.
• Colour-coded phase bands (Construction vs Finishing) so at a glance I can see where we are.
• Milestones for inspection dates, material deliveries, and handover.
Acceptance criteria
1. All tasks show predecessor logic—no orphan bars.
2. Changing a duration or start date updates every dependent line without errors.
3. Sheet opens without macros or add-ins; pure Excel formulas and conditional formatting only.
4. Print-ready view fits on A3 landscape and a summary view on A4.
