C# Developer – Quantum-Safe Cryptography & Blockchain (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Location:
Remote (with some overlap in [insert preferred time zone])
Open to full-time or part-time engagements
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced C# developer with a strong understanding of cryptography and blockchain architecture, particularly with interest or experience in quantum-safe (post-quantum) cryptographic algorithms. You’ll help design, implement, and integrate future-proof cryptographic solutions into our blockchain-based systems using .NET technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and integrate post-quantum cryptographic algorithms into blockchain components
Extend blockchain modules (e.g., wallets, smart contract layers) with C#/.NET
Ensure cryptographic protocols are secure against current and future (quantum) threats
Analyze, benchmark, and test various NIST PQC candidates (e.g., Kyber, Dilithium)
Collaborate with cryptographers and security engineers on protocol-level development
Maintain clean, testable, and well-documented C# code
Support secure deployment of applications on public or private blockchain networks
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in C#/.NET development
Solid knowledge of cryptographic principles (encryption, digital signatures, PKI)
Experience working with or implementing blockchain applications (e.g., using NBitcoin, Stratis, or custom consensus solutions)
Familiarity with quantum-safe algorithms or desire to learn and work with NIST PQC standards
Understanding of secure key management and authentication systems
Comfortable reading cryptographic specs and implementing them in C#
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cryptographic libraries in .NET (e.g., BouncyCastle, libsodium-net)
Understanding of secure software development and vulnerability mitigation
Contributions to blockchain or security-related open-source projects
Familiarity with secure hashing, zero-knowledge proofs, or smart contract platforms
Engagement Details:
Full-time: ~40 hrs/week (flexible hours, remote)
Part-time: 15–20 hrs/week minimum
Long-term opportunity based on mutual fit and project growth
Why Join Us?
Work at the intersection of cutting-edge cryptography and real-world blockchain innovation
Fully remote culture with flexible hours
Contribute to secure, quantum-resilient systems that will stand the test of time
Collaborate with a skilled and passionate team of developers, cryptographers, and blockchain experts
