Desktop Sidebar

I want to create a small Windows application that extends the Win10/11 desktop in such a way that a sidebar with a list of items (text notes, URLs and images as well as appointments) is displayed when the mouse is moved to e.g. the right edge of the screen and disappeared after a while, when mouse is out of sidebar.
These items should be full-text searchable, and can be pasted to the clipboard via icon or opened in an external browser or image editor via click
The items are managed via a JSON file.
The items (texts, URLS) are optionally encrypted.
The password is either entered when the sidebar is called for the first time or read from a USB stick when plugged in.
