Desktop Application + .Net Developer

The Windows Developer will be on an experienced team of skilled developers and lead the development of our proprietary software for the Microsoft Store.
Details of the Job
In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional team using Agile
development techniques to define, design, and release new features for the software and in
particular, the User Interface of the product. The Developer will ensure the following key
activities are completed with excellence: unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases,
usability, and general reliability, collaborate on bug-fixing and improve application performance.
In addition, the candidate will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
to maximize development efficiency.
Primary Skills:
The ideal applicant for the Windows App Developer (C# + XAML) position will:
● Ideally at least 5 years’ experience working on the .NET platform
● Strong understanding of C#
● .NET Core 3+ (or .NET 6+) experience
● Have experience with XAML
● Have experience with C# and .NET Framework
● Experience with Universal Windows Platform
● Experience with Win2D for graphics rendering
Secondary Skills:
● Have experience with Windows SDK.
● Have experience working with remote data via REST, JSON, XML and HTTP.
● Have a strong foundation in object oriented concepts and MVVM architecture.
● Be familiar with gesture concepts and touch interface app design.
● Have experience with complex client server app development
● Be familiar with the publishing and deployment of Windows Apps.
● Possess a basic understanding of databases, including SQL
● Possess a basic understanding of 2-D/3-D visualization and customization of user
interfaces
