Data Scientist Software Developer Role Requirements

Qualifications:
Must haves:
Proficient knowledge and experience with coding languages: C# and Python
Proficiency working with Git in a version control system workflow
Strong experience working with statistical techniques including regressions, properties of distributions, probability calculations, and statistical tests
Experience analyzing data using Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A drive to learn new technologies and techniques
Good to haves:
3-5 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models ideal
Preferable bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, and/or statistics
Tasks will include:
Processing large text files of stock market data, statistically manipulating them programmatically, and generating various outputs
Building infrastructure to easily work with large amounts of data
