Code Review of C# Web Application to Improve Performance

I am a self-taught developer and have built a .NET 7 MVC Web application using AJAX with a SQL Server backend that is starting to be a little problematic under load. It is using Entity Framework Code First.
I need some assistance in understanding some of the key bottlenecks in my application and identifying ways I can improve them and make it run faster.
There are 3 endpoints in particular which have the most load that I would like to improve the performance on when a lot of users are using the system concurrently.
