Cassava Supply Connection Platform
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m developing a platform that lets companies who rely on cassava flour speak directly with cassava-growing farmers. I need both a responsive web app and a companion mobile app released together so users can choose whichever device suits them best while still sharing one real-time database.
The single must-have feature is seamless, reliable communication. Farmers and buyers should be able to:
• exchange instant messages in real time (typing indicators, read receipts, image/file sharing)
• jump into one-to-one or group video calls without leaving the app, on desktop or mobile
Please architect, build, test and deploy the full stack needed for those tools—including user authentication and a simple profile header for each party—so that a farmer can sign in, receive a chat request from a company, and start a live video discussion about harvest details within the same interface.
Acceptance criteria
• Messages deliver in under two seconds on 3G or better connections
• Video calls connect in under ten seconds and maintain stable audio/video for at least five minutes on a 1 Mb/s uplink
• Web and mobile share conversations instantly (no manual refresh)
• Source code, concise setup docs, and a short demo video handed over at completion
If you’re comfortable working with real-time frameworks such as Firebase, WebRTC, Socket.io, or similar, and can produce both web (React, Vue, or comparable) and mobile (React Native, Flutter, or comparable) front-ends from a common code base, I’d love to hear how you’d tackle it and what timeline you foresee.
