BusComfort: Multi-tenant system that remotely manages heating and cooling for buses Web Application

Job ID: 39181943

Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD

BusComfort: Project Overview:

We searhing developers for a multi-tenant web application called **BusComfort**, a system that remotely manages heating and cooling for buses, ensuring optimal vehicle conditions. The system will integrate with GPS trackers, relays, and temperature sensors, allowing users to schedule heating/cooling based on time of day, season, and departure time. The application must be user-friendly, efficient, and secure, providing full control over vehicle temperature and battery levels.

### Key Responsibilities:

1. **System Architecture & Development**:
- Design and develop a scalable, multi-tenant web application using **C#** for the backend and **Vue.js** for the frontend.
- Implement a **RESTful API** using **Swagger** for documentation and easy integration with other systems, such as route planning software (Hastus, Klartext).
- Ensure real-time data retrieval and management from the GPS tracker, temperature sensors, and relays.

2. **Scheduling and Control**:
- Create a scheduling system that allows depot managers to set heating/cooling schedules based on season, time of day, and bus routes.
- Integrate the system to control the relay, turning the heating/cooling system on or off according to the schedule.

3. **Data Monitoring**:
- Implement features to monitor real-time temperature and battery levels for each bus, providing detailed logs of historical data.
- Create alerts and notifications for unusual conditions or maintenance needs (e.g., temperature deviations or low battery).

4. **User Interface (UI)**:
- Develop a simple, intuitive user interface with **Vue.js** to enable depot staff to easily manage the schedules and monitor the buses.
- Include dashboard views showing real-time vehicle statuses (temperature, battery level), upcoming schedules, and historical data.

5. **Integration**:
- Ensure seamless integration with external systems for route planning (CSV fileimport).
- Enable API calls for retrieving schedule and route information, adjusting heating/cooling settings accordingly.

6. **Security & Compliance**:
- Implement secure access control for different tenants (depot managers, staff) and ensure the application is compliant with relevant standards, such as **Bus Nordic**.

7. **Testing & Documentation**:
- Perform thorough testing of the application, including API endpoints, relay control, and real-time monitoring features.
- Use **Swagger** to document the RESTful API and ensure that it is easy to use and integrate.

### Required Skills:
- Strong experience with **C#** for backend development.
- Proficient in **Vue.js** for frontend development.
- Experience with **Swagger** for API documentation and integration.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with GPS data processing, relay control, and temperature sensors.
- Strong understanding of security practices, especially for multi-tenant applications.
- Ability to create an intuitive, user-friendly interface for depot staff and managers.

### Deliverables:
- Fully functional web application with scheduling capabilities.
- Real-time data monitoring and relay control.
- RESTful API with **Swagger** documentation.
- User interface for managing buses, schedules, and monitoring system status.
