Building wrapper for SuiteTalk NetSuite SOAP web service (API) in ASP.NET (C#)

We need to write REST API in C# (.NET) to retrieve some specific data from NetSuite: detail information (name, inventory by location, estimated time of arrival) for Inventory Item, Kit (Package) or Item Group based on the product code (which is different from internal id). We can consider using NetSuite REST Web Services if programmer has experience with them instead of SOAP.
We will consider only those who worked both with NetSuite API and .NET and does not require time for research.
