Build a production planning module for an exisiting C# WinForms and EF6 project

Job ID: 33805858

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

The production planning modules has the following sub modules
1) Production Planning Module
The Production module will support two business production strategies namely, Make to Order (MTO) and Make to Stock (MTS).
a) MTO – Production only starts after a customer has confirmed an order
b) MTS – Production done for buffer inventory, based on sales forecasts and customer demand expectations
• The system should allow Sales dept to generate a Production Order which outlines the scope of work and order fulfilment date. (MTO)
• The system should allow the Production Department to generate a Works Order - list of products to be manufactured e.g., produce 100 X 500ml Peanut butter and 100 Door Frames.
• The system should be able to convert a Work Order into a Stock requisition which provides materials required to fulfil the Works Order.
• The system should be able to convert the Stock Requisition into Stock Issue from Stores to Production (WIP)
• The system should be able to handle Partial/Progressive issues of stock i.e., stock can be issued according to stages (Production Steps) instead of being issued all at once.
• The system should allow users to define Production Recipes/Templates outlining the necessary materials and quantities to manufacture a product.
• The system should allow users to define the production steps required for the production of each finished product with estimate time frames and resources required e.g., Machine hours.
• The system should allow users to start a Work Order and assign Teams & Shifts to work on the Work Order.
• The system should allow the Production Manager/Supervisor to Close Work Order when it’s fulfilled
• The system should allow users to record production waste. Reusable waste should be added back to the stores as raw materials and unusable waste materials which can’t be recycled should be written-off with the authorization of the Production Manager.
• The system should transfer finished products to the sales warehouse for MTO and stores warehouse for MTS
• The system should be able to track and assign production costs for each stage of production. These costs can be direct labor, factory overhead and other conversion costs
• The system should be able to track WIP inventory at various levels of completion e.g., 0-25%, 26-50%, 51%-75% and 76-100%. Note: 1 or more production steps can be part of the same category e.g., Punching Step and Roll Forming Step can be in the 0 – 25% completion category
2) Waste Management
• The system should allow users to record production waste per work order. Waste can be any of the following: weight loss, sweepings and expired raw materials.
• Waste Records should also indicate the stock category e.g. Mild Steel, Coil Waste, Wire Waste, (10kg of Salt)
• Reusable waste materials which can be recycled should be inputted back to stores as raw materials
• The system should be able to handle write-offs with authorization.
3) Quality Control
• The system should allow recording of failed in process products e.g., how many items were deformed due to power loss whilst in production
• The system should allow recording of returns (either from customer through sales or internal returns from internal quality control)
• The system should allow recording of items scrapped (expired goods, defective products, etc)
• The system should be able to handle returns to the stores dept i.e. the value of the returned item should be the starting cost for the rework + whatever materials and labour that is required to correct the item
• The system should be able classify categories of returns and provide a summarised report

Start your bid with the hashtag #WWJD and feel free to put your asking price even if it's different from the stated estimate. There is an inventory module which manages all the products so you will need to model the Production Side Entities only.
