Azure configuration - C# Connecting to mailbox via OAuth 2.0
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
• Description
We need to connect via the modern way of IMAP with OAuth 2.0. i.e., instead of just having the SMTP URL, username, and password, someone must also register the app as well with configuration in Azure. An existing app was registered already, although you can start from scratch.
You will be given the mailbox “client”. You will need to read and send from/to the mailbox programmatically using C# via OAuth 2.0. We have the sample code already, although you can also use your code.
We also have the account “admin”. However, as you are connecting to a production account with admin access (we don’t have a test box, unfortunately, and I know this is bad), we would prefer to have the account login already using our VPS. We will do a desktop sharing so that you can play with the configuration and app registration, and we need to be around. The app registration will have the application client ID, object ID (don’t think you will need it), directory (tenant) ID, certificate upload, redirect URL, application ID, etc. You will also configure the API permissions.
We managed to set up the policy already via PowerShell, but again, you can start from scratch and delete the existing policy. We have a piece of code already and an existing app registered with API permission, but we are not sure why it said “authentication failure”. Hence, we will need your help to configure the account and potentially fix the code.
We will need to be successfully connected to read and send messages using your code.
• Bidding
Your bid is my budget. If you deliberately put in a low bid to attract me to speak to you, you either revise your bid, or I will ignore you.
• Delivery
We need the source code and will integrate your program into a much larger one. You will be paid once you finish all the work and it works on my machine. We will also attack your program, as it has to be secure and reliable without loopholes. It has to be bug-free.
• Platform
Your code has to work on Windows.
• Workplace
You will be working online remotely.
• Experience
Please show us your detailed related work experience and portfolio. Without similar experience, you are unlikely to be awarded, as you may not finish the project anyway.
• IP
The intellectual property, including the source code, belongs to Sors Markets Ltd.
• Interview
We may interview you to see if you can work on the project.
• Demo
We will need to do a demo on Freelancer. If you have any questions, please send us a message.
• Further work
More work may need to be awarded to the winner.
