AR Application for Quality Control Management

Job ID: 38897809

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

This Augmented Reality (AR) application aims to streamline on-site quality control processes. Developed with Unity, it should run on multiple platforms (e.g., Meta Quest 3, HTC Vision Focus, or other AR headsets) and offer users the ability to create, review, and manage multimedia information (video, photo, audio, text) linked to their real-world environment.

Key Features:

1. Viewing Existing Quality Control Entries
Display a list of previously recorded quality control entries.
Allow selection and visualization of associated multimedia content (videos, images, notes, etc.) directly in the real-world context.

2. Creating New Quality Control Entries
Capture and integrate various media (videos, images, audio) linked to a specific real-world location.
Add textual annotations, icons, audio comments, and more, which remain accessible and visible at their exact placement even after multiple sessions.

3. Location-Based Persistence of Information
Associate each quality control entry and its media with a real-world location.
Ensure that these virtual elements remain consistently visible and correctly positioned across multiple sessions.

4. Location-Based Search and Display
Automatically identify the relevant quality control entries based on the user’s current position.
Display and allow consultation of the data related to the current location.

5. Import of External Media
Integrate external media (3D models, animations, PDFs, videos, images, text) and include them in existing or new quality control entries.

6. External Configuration and Multilingual Interface
Load and apply external settings (e.g., video quality, interface preferences, languages).
Provide a multilingual interface, allowing users to easily switch between different languages.

7. Streamlined Screen (UI) Management
Offer a module that enables the creation of new screens (defining a title, description, and buttons) without the need for coding.
Buttons can be linked to predefined actions (e.g., start video capture, display a list of controls, change language, etc.).

8. User Notifications and Messages
Display notifications or alerts (e.g., low storage space, available updates, end of a video recording) directly in the AR environment.
Manage a simple internal messaging system to inform the user about important events related to the application or data.

List of Features to Validate:
-Photo and video capture
-Integration, positioning, and persistence of media (video, photo, audio, text, icons) in the real environment
-Text input (annotations) through various methods (voice dictation, virtual keyboard, external keyboard)
-Data saving (media, annotations, metadata) in a database
-Viewing quality control entries based on their real-world location
-Creating new quality control entries with media and annotations
-Searching for and displaying quality control entries based on the user’s position
-Importing external media and integrating it into quality control entries
