Looking for a skilled and experienced .NET developer to work on an integration of third party flight booking API suppliers like Amadeus, Skyscanner, Booking.com etc. and GDS, Non-GDS systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in .NET technologies, specifically in developing robust and scalable Web APIs integration and must have thorough understating of flight booking workflow in travel technology. The Web API will serve as the backend for our application and should be built using the latest .NET technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure and scalable Web APIs using .NET technologies using .NET as per given supplier API documentation and requirement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
• Implement data management, data validation and error handling, authentication and authorization for API endpoints.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure the best performance and reliability of the application for efficient data retrieval using industry standard methods, tooling, algorithms, and caching techniques.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in .NET development, specifically in Web API development.
• Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET framework.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL Server.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
