Add grip style and picture in Menu Bar on vb.net

I need an experienced VB.NET/C++ developer as I want to add an image and grip style to the menu bar, similar to Outlook Express. The image should be a Windows XP picture, displayed as a picturebox and stored in the resources.

Current Issue:

I am using a custom renderer to change the hover color of the "File" menu. However, when I apply the renderer, the menu bar’s background disappears. If I don’t use the renderer, I can’t change the hover color.

I have already tried using the MenuStrip control. While I was able to add a grip next to the "File" menu, I couldn't achieve the native Windows Vista/7 menu style.

I need a solution that keeps the native menu style while allowing customization.
