XV6, operating system

I am looking for an experienced developer to help me develop an operating system written in C, based on the XV6 system. It is not certain whether or not a Memory Management Unit (MMU) is required, and I am open to hearing suggestions. I did not answer the question regarding the purpose of a Virtual File System, so please include a proposal regarding this topic with your bid. This project will require extensive experience with C programming and a comprehensive understanding of current operating systems, especially the XV6 system. Please let me know if you have any questions about the scope of this project.
