Urgent Senior C++ developer Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
1. Our project is a fork of the latest Bitcoin v25 codebase released in the summer of 2023. Please describe the amount of experience you have, specifically with the Bitcoin UTXO codebase.
2. We are looking for an experienced C++ developer.
The developer we are looking to hire will need to be available to support our code, which will impact others downstream.
Please describe your experience with other projects and the role you held.
3. Our project modified the PoW core of the Bitcoin code, and we implemented a Linear Weight Moving Average (LWMA3) PoS algorithm instead. The testnet is stable, but we are still testing and making enhancements. Are you familiar with Proof of Stake, and are you comfortable taking over management of this code? Please describe your history with PoS.
4. Our project has a Genesis Block that is officially over 10 years old. We are an old chain. The project used to be called Kittehcoin and was created 3 weeks after Dogecoin came online.
We have modified the Bitcoin code to include several new RPC functions and an authentication layer for sharing and storing data in each block’s op-return header space. This is the primary objective of our project: energy-efficient, durable blockchain data storage. This development is complete but needs to be tested and reviewed. Are you comfortable with the RPC functions in Bitcoin code and interested in reviewing this code and making needed enhancements? A descriptive response will be beneficial.
