USB Key Bypass for XP Program

I have an old personal utility program that runs on Windows XP. The program requires a USB dongle key to function, and I often forget to bring the key with me, which prevents me from running the software. I'm looking for a software fix that would allow the program to run without the key. Alternatively, I'm open to having the key duplicated onto several other USB keys so I have one available in each bag I carry.
