Setup an SDR development environment
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I would like to develop some custom DSP code for LimeSDR and Ettus B205mini SDRs. I require a Docker and a document describing in detail the step by step installation procedure.
Docker Requirements:
The document *MUST* describe the installation instructions in the correct order, as this procedure is known to be sensitive to this. the below items are in no particular order (that's what I need you to figure out).
I want to connect to the LimeSDR and the EttusB205mini via their respective APIs. Install/load these.
I want to develop in C, so install MS Visual Code (free).
I want the SDR hardware drivers installed
I want the Soapy modules for these SDRs installed (for use with GNU radio companion)
I require the LimeSuite tools installed.
I require GNU Radio Companion (GRC) installed.
Document Requirements:
I require the details of the changes to PATH or any other environment/system files/values/registers etc.
I require the details to any placement of libraries and/or source folders on the system, as well as the project folder.
Notes:
I am happy to work on either Windows10 or Ubuntu. Assume I work with Python 3.x if required. The document does not require particular format, I would be OK with a list of installation commands with a one or two sentence comment on each one. Basically I want to have a complete recipe to set up a system to write and build code against the API source, and execute that code on the streaming source data from the SDRs.
