C Programmer Needed for Ring Buffer & Network Daemon
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking an experienced C programmer to implement a project involving the creation of a thread-safe ring buffer and a simple network daemon. The ring buffer should allow concurrent access by multiple threads without any data corruption or race conditions. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the buffer's memory is efficiently allocated and deallocated.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the provided data structures and functions according to the specifications.
- Test the implementation using provided test programs.
- Ensure code quality, including proper memory management and handling of edge cases.
- Provide thorough documentation and comments within the code.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in C programming.
- Experience with multi-threading and synchronization mechanisms (mutexes, condition variables).
- Familiarity with network programming concepts.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Once approved you will get the details of the task and the source code. This is a small project that is expected to be completed between 3 days to 1 week. We are seeking an intermediate-level C programmer with prior experience in implementing thread-safe data structures and memory management in C.
