( C/Opencl ) Modify Hashcat for OFB AES 256 - 23/01/2025 15:47 EST
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for an expert in C programming and cryptography to modify the Linux version of Hashcat. The main task is to alter the hashcat/OpenCL/m12700-pure.cl and hashcat/src/modules/module_12700.c files to enable the decryption of OFB AES 256 instead of CBC 256.
Key Requirements:
- Proficient in C programming
- Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms, particularly AES
- Linux platform experience
- Ability to implement complex algorithm changes
I will provide test cases and validation files, which include sample encrypted data with known passwords and hash samples. The aim is to ensure that the modified Hashcat program can effectively find passwords for these hashes. If you have the right skill set and experience, I look forward to your bid.
I’ve uploaded the 2 files that need editing… and it is possible that other code also needs editing. Hashcat is open source and the source code can be viewed at github.com/hashcat/hashcat.
