I’d like to revive a Nikon Coolscan V on my Windows 11 desktop. I still have the original installation CD, yet I’m unsure whether the included drivers will cooperate with a modern 64-bit system. Your task is to make the scanner fully operational for straightforward, high-quality scanning—no editing workflow is required.

You are free to use any proven method: patched Nikon Scan 4 drivers, INF editing, disabling driver-signature enforcement, or a modern utility such as VueScan—whatever reliably gets Windows 11 to see the scanner and lets me launch a scan without errors.
