Multi-Drive Data Sanitation Software Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a seasoned software developer to create a comprehensive drive/data sanitation program. This program must adhere to the NIST 800-88 standard and be suitable for use by an R2 certified company.
Key Features:
- Multi-Drive Support: The software should efficiently handle multiple drives simultaneously.
- Hot Swap Capability: It should allow for the hot swapping of failed or passed drives, as well as the integration of new drives without causing delays.
- User-Friendly Interface: The program must be intuitive and easy to navigate for users of all skill levels.
- Robust Reporting: The software should include a suite of reporting features, including detailed log files, certification of data destruction, and real-time progress monitoring.
Drive Interfaces: The program needs to support SATA, USB, NVMe, and SAS interfaces.
Ideal Skills: The ideal candidate for this project will have a deep understanding of data sanitation standards, extensive experience in software development, and a proven track record of creating user-friendly applications. Familiarity with drive interfaces and the ability to incorporate complex features without compromising usability will be crucial for the success of this project.
Software should be compatible to run using most hardware out there and drive arrays, etc. if possible.
