MQTT client integration with existing Win32 C application
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
I am looking for a freelancer who can integrate an MQTT client with an existing Win32 C application (https://github.com/hilch/brwatch). The purpose of this integration is to enable real-time data communication. At this stage, publishing only is required, no subscription.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in Win32 C programming
- Knowledge of MQTT protocols and concepts
- Familiarity with the Mosquitto MQTT broker
- Understanding of real-time data communication principles
- Ideally some knowledge of B&R Automation PVI interface, although this is well documented and we can offer guidance there.
Specific Requirements:
- The integration should be compatible with the Windows XP 32-bit operating system and consist of a single portable executable file
- The MQTT client should be able to connect and communicate with the Mosquitto MQTT broker and handle session connection status and message buffering for poor connection
- The project is a fork of an existing Github project, governed by GPL 3.0 as well as PAHO MQTT licensed under EPL. We expect the resulting code to be released as a fork on Github under GPL 3.0.
