C++ Login Server System Security & Performance Audit

I am facing a problem. I work with online game servers. And currently one person managed to discover and exploit flaws in the game's login_server. This person created a tool that runs on Linux where it emulates the client.exe connection. However, once connected with this tool, he can do whatever he wants on the server.
I have this tool in version v1. I managed to block it by modifying login_server through hex. However, it seems that there is another flaw that the v2 tool can still exploit. I need someone to check the tool I have and the login_server so can find these flaws and fix them.
I believe that with the v1 tool that I have, the professional will be able to more easily understand how the initial fault works and that way it will be easier to find the other faults.
