Klotski-similar Puzzle Solver Software -- 2
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I am looking for a proficient developer to create a software that can solve a game similar to Klotski. The software should have capabilities of providing a step-by-step solution to the game. This will require extreme logical assessment and the ability to create an algorithm that solves the puzzle in the most efficient manner.
I am attaching a couple of images of the puzzle. The goal of the game is to move the red-pointed block (and also the blue-pointed one if needed) to the final position that is the see-through block.
As you can see, the specifications of the puzzle are:
- The blocks type can be 1x1, 2x1 (vertical), 1x2 (horizontal), 2x2 (square)
- The blocks can be moved horizontally or vertically where a space is present, one step at a time.
- As written above, there could be only one block to be positioned in the target (first screenshot) or also two (second screenshot)
- The size of the frame can be different (third screenshot)
The software should provide a sort of builder where I can outline the initial setting and then it should provide step by step solution.
The software should be developed for Windows platforms, and while I don't have a specific language preference, the use of languages like Java, C++, or Python may be necessary.
Given that the GUI or User Interface Design preference was left open, I am looking for suggestions from expert designers. A design that prioritizes usability and functionality could be much appreciated.
