The Lake Companies is a leading technology consulting firm that specializes in Infor SyteLine implementations, upgrades and custom modifications. We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Programmer to join our team. This role can be remote.
The Junior Programmer position is a role requiring an enthusiastic and motivated individual. This position will be a member of the software team and responsible for supporting our software development in all aspects of coding, testing and implementation of custom modifications. A strong desire to learn the codebase and willingness to improve your coding skills are the primary things we are looking for.
Qualifications:
Writing and debugging code.
Penchant for algorithm design and strong Computer Science fundamentals.
Working closely with developers to improve product’s functionality.
Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, communication, and the ability to influence.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly language.
Relevant Skillset:
High school diploma rquired, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in computer programming, web development, and/or database architecture in any programming language.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other relational database a definite plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Git a definite plus.
Knowledge of discrete manufacturing a definite plus.
Exposure to SyteLine a definite plus.
