Help with Raspberry Pi transferring images through UART -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have connected two raspberry pi’s together through the Serial ports (TX connected to RX and grounds connected to each other). I have a transmitter program on the transmitting PI and a receiving program on the receiving PI (both programs coded in C). The code is from this tutorial:
https://raspberry-projects.com/pi/programming-in-c/uart-serial-port/using-the-uart
When I run both programs and attempt to send a jpg file, the transmitter appears to transmit the entire file without issues. The receiver PI picks up the first 64 bytes and then quits. I’ve tried different file types with the same problem.
I need help from a programmer to review my code and help me to get it working. I could have some settings issue too. You must have your own raspberry pi to help with this project, and will require FaceTime calls to help with the project.
