ESP32 Firmware Development (long term)

Looking for an experienced ESP32 firmware developer to start working on a new product.
Initial task (please read the attachment) serves as a technical assessment to evaluate your skills and working style. If you can deliver the output, we will discuss engagement opportunity, roadmap and long-term development goals.
Please send the code for us to review and so it can be flashed and tested locally on real hardware (ready on our side).
Scope is kept minimal by design — just core logic, no polish. This is purely a small task on firmware and control logic and will take not much of your time.
