Help Needed: Debugging & Running a C++ Desktop App with Depth Camera
I have a nearly complete C++ desktop application that I need help running and debugging. The code is mostly ready, but since I have no background in C++, I need assistance from an experienced developer to ensure everything works correctly.
What the App Does:
The application is designed to work with a depth camera, enabling interactive experiences. It includes various interactive elements and games that respond to user movements. I just need the app to be fully functional and working as intended.
What I Need Help With:
Setting Up & Running the App – Ensuring that all dependencies and configurations are correctly set up to make the application run smoothly on my system.
Debugging Issues – Fixing any errors or crashes that prevent the app from working properly.
Optimizing Performance – Checking if there are any bottlenecks or issues affecting responsiveness.
Explaining Key Parts of the Code – Since I’m not familiar with C++, I’d like a clear explanation of the structure and how key components interact, so I can understand how to maintain or modify the app in the future.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong experience in C++ development, especially with desktop applications.
Familiarity with depth cameras and how they interface with applications.
Good debugging skills and ability to explain concepts in a simple way.
The goal is simple: Make the application work properly so it can be used as intended. If you have experience with similar projects, I’d love to hear from you!
NOTICE: The debugging process will be via ZOOM since the codebase is not hosted anywhere and its LOCAL
