I am looking for an experienced developer to help me set up a Knight Online PvP server using open-source server files. I have identified a specific PvP server client that I admire and would like to replicate its functionality and features for my own server. My goal is to create a server that mirrors the same gameplay experience, mechanics, and features as the existing client.
I already have access to the original client files, but I need assistance in integrating them with my own server setup. This includes configuring the server files, setting up the database, and ensuring seamless communication between the client and server. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Knight Online server architecture and client-server integration.
Requirements:
✅ Proven experience in setting up and managing Knight Online PvP servers
✅ Strong knowledge of C++ and SQL for server-side configuration and database management
✅ Expertise in linking client files with server files to ensure full compatibility
✅ Experience in setting up and managing databases, including login system integration
✅ Familiarity with packet editing and IP redirection for smooth server-client communication
✅ (Optional) Knowledge of anti-cheat systems and their integration is a plus
Responsibilities:
Set up and configure the server using open-source Knight Online server files.
Integrate the existing client files with the server to replicate the desired gameplay experience.
