Crypto code consultant (scan code) github

Happy New Year. I'm seeking a professional crypto coder consultant to review files that are several years old. The project on github seems to be abandoned but had over 300 contributaries back several years ago, It seems to be a template of the original bitcoin and is a mock up of a project called "zero cash" renamed to (Zcash) . Is this project code worth reviving ? Adding some of todays crypto code enhancements? Mineable? Secure? Can it be tested? What would you recommend? Would Encrypted dotCASH need a whole new code?
