Creating Individual LED control API under Zephyr Project
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We're looking for an embedded developer familiar with zephyr to create an API to control individual LEDS in a zephyr LED strip for the zephyr project ZMK https://github.com/zmkfirmware/zmk
The aim of the project is to create a universal method of overriding individual addressable leds for various keyboard related purposes such as indicating caplock state, battery state or layer state or for per key LED control eventually. This is with the aim of simplifying other developers work on such features. Currently ZMK has simple control of addresable rgb leds only in a global aspect with no way of controlling individual leds in a strip
This will require communication with the lead developer of ZMK to understand the full requirements and design goals of this API so that it can be merged into the main code when complete.
Deliverables
Create API for individual LED control of an addressable led strip within the design goals of the ZMK lead developer
Create documentation on usage of said API
