C Compiler Project

Hi there. I am working on a project for a compiler in C. I have completed the scanner, and have to start with the parser. The project spec contains the EBNF and all. I just need some help, as I am stuck on where to start and what to do at the moment. If anyone is able to assist, please let me know. Looking for a tutor/mentor preferably.
